I was looking for a briefcase to replace the bag I had been using for many years. I happened to see the Brooklyn Museum's briefcase on Instagram, and although the shape and usability seemed okay, I thought the color was too flashy, so I went to the Aoyama main store to check it out.
When I tried it on in the mirror, it didn't look as flashy as I had expected, and my wife told me, "You don't have to wear it with anyone else!", so I made the decision. I was a little embarrassed at first because I have often chosen black or brown, but it has been well received at work and at business meetings, and I am grateful to my wife for her discerning eye. Even the interior and pockets are made of suede.
